DIRECTIONS TO THE U.S. NATIONAL WHITEWATER CENTER:

Just northwest of Charlotte, NC, near the intersection of I85 and I485, off of I85, take the exit for Moores Chapel Road.  Follow the signs to the new entrance to the USNWC.  Complete directions and maps of the bike trails are at www.usnwc.org. 

USNWC PARKING/ RACE START INFO:

There is a gatehouse and a seasonal and day parking pass option.  However, for those registered for NCARS #3 you will need to flash the printed information to the security guard and you will be waived in.  Park at the far left end of the gravel parking lot, on the top of the small hill.  The race start/finish will be at the Pavilion.  There are bathrooms and drinking water in several buildings.  You  can store gear in a flagged transition area near the pavilion, or at your car.   Showers are available in the main building.  The restaurant is excellent.  Mountain bikes can be rented after 10:00 a.m. if you are flying in and need one.
